How to get to
By car
From Nord: From Milan take the A1 motorway(autostrada A1), then from Parma Ovest take the A15 motorway, then take the A12 motorway Genova-Livorno, then take the Rosignano Marittimo exit . Take the superstrada(expressway) SS1 to Venturina-Piombino-Isola d'Elba, then follow directions to Piombino.From South: From Rome take the A12 motorway(autostrada) to Civitavecchia, then take the SS1 expressway(superstrada) towards Grosseto, drive on towards Venturina-Piombino-Isola d'Elba, then follow directions to Piombino.
By train
Piombino Marittima railway station (facing the port of Piombino) Fast link ( 3 minutes approximately) between Piombino Centrale and Piombino Marittima Station. To learn more about train schedule go to Ferrovie dello Stato.
Getting to the Villa Elisa
From the main ports follow the signs to Capoliveri. Once in Capoliveri, follow the signs to Località Innamorata, after four km on the right you have arrived at the Villa Elisa.
